CDN hosted a new webinar entitled 'Defining the boundary between Technical and Concept Surfacing using Autodesk Alias' on October 13, 2011. The online seminar was especially relevant for design engineers (from aerospace and consumer product industries as well as automotive), for surface modelers, and for lead designers who need to understand the differences between concept surfacing and Class A surfacing. Ford up their Facebook spend as GM depart paid for Facebook
After GM said it was pulling its adverts from Facebook this week, Ford has stepped in to say it will spend more. Who’s right? The timing of the announcement by GM this week that it was pulling advertising from Facebook was doubtless designed to inflict as much damage as possible on the Facebook IPO.

At the New York Auto Show in the spring, the Jaguar XKR-S GT was revealed as a track inspired, but road legal, version of the XKR-S to be sold in limited numbers and only for the US market. At first we thought the XKR-S GT was destined for both the US and UK, but it quickly became clear that Jaguar intended their XKR-S GT just for the US. Which seemed a shame.
